What is Shared Plates?

More than half a million Angelenos struggle with hunger, yet everyday 40% of food goes to waste. So we're asking Angelenos - young and old - to gather around the table for a good cause!

Shared Plates is a city-wide weekend of gatherings October 5-7, 2018 to celebrate the power of food in Los Angeles. Everyone can host a party, and every dollar raised supports L.A. Kitchen in the fight against hunger, food waste, and unemployment.

Join L.A.'s biggest, baddest anti-gala!

Here's how it works:

1. SIGN UP BELOW. For individuals, you'll set your own ticket price, number of guests, location, date, and time. For restaurants, you'll set your own donation percentage, location, date, and business hours.

2. INVITE GUESTS. We'll email you a unique RSVP link that your guests can use to purchase tickets to your Shared Plates party. With that link you can keep track of who's coming to your party. For restaurants donating a percentage, we will be in touch with next steps for your event!

3. GET INSPIRED. You set the menu and we'll provide you with an official #SharedPlatesLA Host Kit including decor, gift cards, swag, recipes, and a simple program!
